Addressed the need for corporate innovation for long-term success, four trends to be expected in the innovation landscape, artificial intelligence, and evolving digital channels in the food and beverage industry.

Workshop: Innovating Within Boston Scientific

Spoke to 40 future innovators and innovation champions within Boston Scientific Brazil on the topics of innovation and entrepreneurship at the organization. Addressed innovation as a force for transformation in the long term corporate strategy, specific approaches to introducing new innovations to the market, and discussed how best to approach challenge areas that the innovators should expect.

Keynote Speech: Corporate Entrepreneurship: Enabling Innovation at Galp

Delivered two keynote speeches at the Galp Innovation Day in Lisbon, Portugal. The first covered internal innovation and entrepreneurship for an internal audience including the organization’s top leadership and Executive Committee. The second covered innovation ecosystems for a broader audience including the corporate innovation leaders from throughout Portugal.

Opening Keynote Speech: All Things Connected

Delivered the opening keynote speech for the 2021 MIT China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum conference to an audience of 1,000. Speech welcomed the audience to the weekend’s events centered around the theme of “all things connected” and sustainability. The keynote covered these themes by providing structure with four key areas: connected ecosystems, connections between invention and commercialization, connected elements of the entrepreneurial process, and lastly, connected people. The keynote wrapped up with a real-world example of a venture leveraging this connectivity to inspire the audience that they can in fact engage with each other and align on missions to change the world.

 

Central Asia Nobel Fest

Plenary Session Panel: Tech Revolution and the Future of Humanity

Spoke on the plenary session panel at the Central Asia Nobel Fest, a conference with 40,000 attendees from 70 states, on the impact that technology will have on the future of humanity. Covered emerging technology trends in the United States, the impact of regulation on technological innovation, and the challenges faced by both startups and corporate innovations.

 

2021 YSEALI Academy Flagship Entrepreneurship Seminar

Navigating The Startup Ecosystem Seminar

Designed and delivered two talks during the flagship seminar for future Southeast Asian leaders at YSEALI, Fulbright University in Vietnam. The two sessions covered the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and how to navigate the startup ecosystem. These lectures were delivered to an audience of 50 from the ASEAN region who are interested in pursuing entrepreneurship.

Keynote Speech: Sustainable Business Practices & Innovation

Delivered keynote address for a conference of 10,000 attendees hosted by the Jain University Center for Management Studies aimed at motivating and inspiring students to pursue entrepreneurial journeys. Speech encouraged students to find focus, understand the opportunity cost of not pursuing an entrepreneurial journey, and challenged them to start now not later while risk tolerance still allows for entrepreneurship. Speech concluded with actionable next steps that students can take the begin or further their entrepreneurial journey.

 

MIT Supply Chain Management SCALE Connect Program

Introduction to Entrepreneurship

Provided an introduction to entrepreneurship for the MIT SCALE Connect program to 160 supply chain and logistics students from all over the world including from the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics, MIT GCLOG Program, Zaragoza Logistics Center (ZLC) (Zaragoza, Spain), Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (MISI), Ningbo Supply Chain Innovation Institute China, and Luxembourg Center for Logistics & Supply Chain Management at University of Luxembourg. Covered the 24 Steps from Disciplined Entrepreneurship to highlight the entrepreneurial process at a high level and inspire students to pursue an entrepreneurial journey.

How to Pitch Your Startup

Delivered startup pitch and effective communication session for the United Nations Office for Project Services and their Global Innovation Bootcamp with startup teams based in Kobe, Japan. Session covered the importance of effective communication as an entrepreneur, elevator pitch development, and pitch deck presentation skills. Session used real-world examples from MIT students to highlight tactics and techniques that engage audiences.
